Who Am I?

Who is this guy that we call Probuilder? That goes by Temlawn as one of the must successful powersellers, promoters,  and teachers on ebay?

Well its simple really…

I am a Fun Loving Guy, plain and simple and I have a drive that most don’t. If I want something I go after it and I don’t quit until I get it. Years ago, I used to be a computer operator for the city of Los Angeles, California for the library systems. We were putting over a million books a day from card catalogs on to main frame computers. While, I was in college the city came in and said they needed some good operators and I was one of the few that were picked and had access to these main frames…. But my experience didn’t just start there. I have always loved to play with computers, program, design, and promote. My experience actually started back in 1983 when this whole crazy personal computer thing started. We had a computer class with about 20 computers in it and I remember the classic 5 1/4″ disks and tape drives we had to use, but the funny thing is, it wasn’t like the computers of today. Those ones back then we had to use the computer language “Basic”, and actually type in codes for those things to do anything. Was pretty funny, but a great learing experience.

My love for computers and just everything about them started to grow from there, some 20+ years ago and I took every class I could while in high school and college. Basic, C, C++, fortran, Pasqual, ..ect. You name it I took it. (of course now a days things are much easier)..

Then after my contract was up with the city of los angeles, I decided to take a little break. So I got a job with a golf course, which lasted for about 3 years, and that developed into my successful landscape company I owned and ran for almost 10 years. We were located at that time in Temecula, California and my landscape company was called “Temecula Lawn Care and Landscaping” – Temlawn for short thats when I still owned my landscape company and started into the ebay world. Within a few months I became a powerseller under the name “Temlawn” and its stuck ever since.

But it only grew……

Now, my love for internet marketing came into play and my drive kicked in. After loosing several thousand dollars with a large search engine trying to promote a product, I figured there had to be a better way so my long journey began. My quest for finding alternative advertising methods, and thinking outside of the box, has since developed into a passion. I have literally spent the last 10+ years as a student of the internet. If you can name it, I probably have done it, tested it, developed it, or been a part of it.

But the funny thing is…. Most people have no clue who I am! – But that is because there are those people who want the fame and glory, and others who sit in the wings and enjoy the quiet success.

So where am I today?

Well… when you search the internet marketing world, you will find some interesting things. There are people who claim to know alot (and they do sometimes), about certain subjects or “niches”, as we like to call them, and then there are a few people that can do what the average marketer can’t. We call that the elite group. Although im extremely humble, there really is not to much I can’t do or have not done… My forte’ now is selling on ebay, graphics, design, promoting, seo, sem, mysql, php, html, tweaks, redesign, launches, new projects, and again thinking outside of the box. Doing what nobody else has done…

If you want to make money online, that is what you do, find out what everybody else is doing…. tweak it, make it unique, and then promote it, because all those other people who are following the “Norm” will suddenly take a look and say “Who in the heck is this guy”…lol…

Oh! To answer everybodies question of my internet name “Probuilder”., there was actually a certain company that I was involved in and quickly had thousands of people in my business.. the owner could not believe that a single person could put so many people into a business.. so we had our differences and the name stuck…. pretty simple… so if you see “probuilder” or “temlawn”., that is me…

Just a fun, humble guy, who likes to have fun, and playing in the internet world.

P.s. Yes, 3 years working at a library gave me alot of access to alot of information… 20+ years playing with computers has been fun, and the drive to learn for the last 10+ years… that is what has put me where I am today.

Best Single Performance: Well we just launched ez123bid so that was fun. I think personally I put 154,000+ uniques, 8.5 million hits, and over 100+ new members in, over 1000+ twitter followers, in 30 days… which would have been more, but we found a small glitch that was limiting who could signup. That since has been fixed, but we checked stats and over 8,120 people hit the register button. So it could have been really interesting.

Mentors: To be honest I’m kind of self tought. People who I can think of? Tony Robbins for one.. and a little known internet marketer named Mike Filsaime (lol sorry mike)..just an inspiring story and a pretty impressive marketer.
